Man, I sure am generous. 3 whole stars. I never go to Golden Corral of my own accord. This time around my boyfriend craved the ribs and chicken they have after some time during the day. It has a lot of choices of different food, and all of them are mediocre. Categories of mediocrity: Okay Decent Bland Horrible It's up to everyone's personal preference, I guess. Our server was on the ball. It was incredibly busy and our glasses never went empty and our table didn't get piled up with dirty plates.

Breakfast was surprisingly good for a non vegas buffet. It is what it is across the board but again the food was far better than I anticipated.

The best place in town to eat if you can't decided on what you want. The food is always good and 90% of it is made from scratch. Meaning they actually boil potatoes and mash them for mashed potatoes. They actually grind there own meat. And everything is cooked fresh I have rarely came in and seen food that was old looking. You will have to stir the Mack and cheese but hey it's cheese. I know once ever hour and half they do a bar and floor check meaning they clean!!!!! And the staff is super friendly just ask and you will receive. There steaks are pretty good they grill them to order. The sea food is always good and omg the deserts are always homemade right there in there own bakery!

Charles Dickens reviews Golden Corral: It was the best concept for a restaurant, it was the worst concept for a restaurant, it was an affordable way to have a variety of options, it was a barn with a feeding trough, it was all of your favorites from home cooking, it was prepared with all the love and attention to detail of a school cafeteria, it was hot and freshly prepared, it sat under heat lamps and formed crusts around the edges, it was the definition of variety, it all kind of tasted the same, we had everything before us, but nothing was that great, we were all going to gorge ourselves, we were all going to leave less than satisfied, in short, the concept was so far from home cooking, that some of its noisiest marketing materials insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

If I could give a NEGATIVE star I would here! I have never had an experience like this in my life! I was in OK for work for the week. I decided that I would try this place due to how close it was to my hotel, the Fairfield Marriott. I will NOT be returning and have already sent a complaint in on their website as well. I arrived at the restaurant about 630 pm. I sat at a table for two, since it was just myself and I had two plates when this happened (salad, veggies and steak). I don't really have a complaint about the food, other than the high salt content on some of the food and the silverware wasn't overly spot free. I was people watching as I usually do when I am eating dinner by myself for work. I look over to the table kitty corner from me, just in time to see the drunk fellow over there throwing up.....onto his plate, his shorts, the table and the floor at his feet. He had just sat down a few minutes before that! He had two friends with him, only one at the table at the time. The friend at the table was smirking at him and leaning forward, from the motions it looked like he was telling him to clean up. The drunk vomit guy starts using napkins to clean up the table in slow motion. One of the waitresses noticed it at this point and brings him a BUCKET AND TOWEL! Seriously? Lets have him clean up himself and the area?!? So the guy wipes it all up and dumps it in the bucket.. At this point it is all I can do to even sit at my table. I have a weak gag reflex when it comes to vomit! I put my hand up beside my face so that I didn't have to see it. But I still caught wiffs of it in the air! Then....the guys friends bring him a plate full of steaks and HE CONTINUES TO EAT!!! I am so utterly grossed out. I can't even tell you how bad this is! BLECH!!

Came here for Sunday lunch after church to satisfy all family indecisiveness on cuisine. The first thing that I would say is they need to keep the front cashier area clean with dry floors! With so much traffic through there, it was unnerving watching the elderly ease through there hoping they wouldn't fall. They had a wet floor sign down when we arrived, but upon leaving, the mess had only increased. Put a rug down or something if you don't have the time to clean it. The buffet was well stocked with plenty of options and well staffed on every section. The quality of food was standard for what you would expect at a buffet, nothing over the top, but at an all-you-can-eat, most aren't expecting epic 5-star dishes. My daughter was particularly impressed with the 3 chocolate fountains and cotton candy on the dessert bar, so that was a win. Our server was kind and helpful, working his section very attentively. No complaints there. The grandest offense here was by far the urine like stench lingering in all of the dining portion of the place. It destroyed the opportunity to enjoy the food. Something that I could not overlook.

My go to spot for lunch! Never disappoints. Food is alright, but better than anything I could make at home. Sit on the far edges to get away from the meddling munchkins. The chocolate fountain is a kids only thing. Don't use it. There are more things dipped in there besides food...

The last time we were here the food was exceptional! This time it was just okay, but not worth the $14/per person (including drinks) it cost. The variety was excellent and presentation was okay, the food was okay it just lacked that extra pizzazz that gets my added STARS. Our server, Claira, was excellent and we really enjoyed her. Of course we always love the Chocolate Wonderfalls! It's great for several people wanting several different things and wanting to still enjoy one atmosphere.

Not impressed at all. I used to go to the one in norman weekly and I loved it. I moved to OKC and I decided to go eat at this location and the food was bland to say the least and the selection was minimal at best. Also, the staff didn't seem happy at all, which tells me the management is lacking...

When you frequently eat at Golden Corral, what you're actually doing is letting your loved ones (and anyone else who is paying attention) know that you've given up on life. On the other hand, the selection is impressive, so... At least you're giving up in style? As much style as you can get from this place anyway. GC is a once-a-year thing for me. Occasionally, you just want obscene amounts of meat without having to dip into your savings account, and GC helps to fill that expansive void in your stomach... And soul. Your poor, sad soul. This city needs a legit Brazilian Steakhouse.

This place is, Meh. It is high sodium, canned food. I will go here just because I like the feeling of an overstuffed belly. Many of the dishes are half clean. I pick up about 5 plates before I find a clean one. Tables are half clean. Drinking cups half clean. The ice cream machine is usually dirty with leftover drippings. The only thing that I can eat alot of here is the corn on the cob, black eyed peas w/rice, some fatty roast, corn bread, french fries, few chicken wings and orange sherbet . They do have other foodstuffs but tasteless. I do come for breakfast sometimes, that goes Fri-Sun 7am until 1030am. I eat cornbeef hash, powdered eggs w/grits and stuff up on the bacon and OJ is diluted down to mostly water. If you have to eat here, my advice is to go for breakfast or lunch. It is cheaper and there is not alot of people to wait on to move out of the way and it's easier to find seating. Dinnertime, which is after 330pm, goes up to like $15, soooo not worth it, you can't find seating and you may end up sitting next to ppl with bad table manners like what happened to me. I went for dinner once and totally regretted it. I paid $15, had to wait on ppl to move out of the way, no spoons available, no seating and when I did find seating it was next to some woman who kept blowing her nose, spoiling my appetite. We are not talking about someone casually blowing their nose. This woman had an infection in her sinuses. You could tell by the sound of it. Also, one of the waitresses was stuffing food in her mouth behind the counter. Not a good sight. Btw, there are alot of senior citizens who eat here all the time. You will feel like you are in a nursing home when you come here.

This is the best Golden Corral in the metro. They are very good at keeping the food relatively fresh. When I went there on Sunday, they were featuring Prime Rib on the buffet. It was actually pretty good for a buffet steak. The Golden Corral buffet is a good choice when you can't decide on where to go. it lets people get what they want. Um, I haven't given up on life, btw. The only thing I don't like is the tipping. I use my credit card for everything, and some Golden Corral's let you put tips on your card, but this particular store did not give me that option the last time I was there.

This is the only Golden Corral that I will eat at. Actually, this is one of the only buffets I will eat at. Lol. Their food is always fresh and they have an ENORMOUS selection.

The best of the buffet restaurants. Try the grilled steak cooked right in front of you, nicely seasoned. You can also have seafood cooked the way you want it, too. Great tip.......you can bypass the line and get your food to go. Get as much as you want, they weigh it and charge about $4.50 per lb. My wife and I usually pay about $12 for the 2 of us. This is a great way to get what you really want and not overeat.
